Move clients to your new fees with ease

As part of our updates to Wealth and Super Accelerator fees, we've created an easy-to-use online tool to help you transition clients to your new fee structure.

By using this tool you can give your clients the option to transfer their account to the new fee structure before January 2021. Clients nominated by you will be able to logon to their account and submit an instruction to Netwealth to amend their fees. This tool can only be used by clients with online access to their account.

To benefit from the new fee structure offered by Netwealth, your clients in Super Wrap and/or Investment Wrap must change their account to Super Plus and/or Wealth Accelerator Plus. This change will occur if the client accepts the proposal to change their account fees.


Step 1: Open the 'Product transfer and/or change of account fees' notification 

Log in to your Netwealth account. If you have any accounts that can be transitioned to your new fees a task will appear on the My Tasks section of your Dashboard. Click on the task to open your client list.


Step 2: Send a proposal to selected clients

When the task is opened you will be taken to a Client Elections page. At the top of this page is information relating to the Change of account fees. Further down the page is a table of your clients that are eligible for the transition to the new fees.

Select the clients you wish to transition and click submit to send the clients a proposal. If an account is part of a Family fee group then all related accounts will also be selected.

A message should appear at the bottom of the screen to advise if the proposals have been successfully sent.


Step 3: Clients must accept the proposal

The selected clients will receive a notification in their dashboard requesting their acceptance of the new fees.

When they click on the task they will be taken to the Client Elections screen to view the fee proposal for their accounts.

The client can submit their acceptance if they are satisfied with the proposal. 

The new fee rates will apply from the first day of the month in which the fee change is processed.
